Since the launch of the iPad2, it become the most popular and desired tablet for many. Before its launch, there was much discussion regarding its design, the launch date, and specifications. Apple's successful marketing strategy has created much anticipation from iPad users and with many wanting to be the first to own one. 

The iPad along with many Apple products have now become a fashion accessory and status symbol due to their modern design and strong demand. Resultingly the iPad cover has also become a highly sought after item. These range from cheap, affordable designs to serve practical purposes (scratch prevention) to high end products. It has become just as important (if not more) to show off the iPad2 through a fashionble cover much like a handbag or mobile phone case. 

In response to such new technology becoming increasingly important in one's daily and social needs, fashion company like LV, Prada, Gucci, etc have release their iPad covers. There are not cheap though and the iPad covers are designed with theirs signature design.
